  ECO-MIN is concentrated, which means lower application rates and lower application costs. ECO-MIN’s variety of trace minerals reduces your need to provide these elements by supplemental or foliar feeding. And because ECO-MIN encourages the development of beneficial organisms, applications of standard N-P-K fertilizers can be significantly reduced or eliminated. Further, ECO-MIN contains no petroleum byproducts, so fluctuations in the price of oil do not affect the price of ECO-MIN.

How it Works

• ECO-MIN is incorporated into the soil before or after planting.
• Microbes in the soil draw minerals from ECO-MIN and carry these micro-nutrients to the feeder roots of the plant.
• Mycorrhizal fungi increase on roots and aid in mineral uptake.
• Small particles of ECO-MIN are readily available for uptake through microbes; larger particles of ECO-MIN function as slow release fertilizer.
• Increased mineral uptake helps raise brix (sugar level), improves plant vigor, and enhances natural disease resistant capabilities of plants.

Specific Application Rates

CROPS:

• ECO-MIN is a dry fertilizer and is most effective when applied using conventional spreaders / equipment at a general rate of 6-12 pounds per 1000 square feet (or 250 pounds per acre).
• One application per growing season.

TREES & SHRUBS:

• Apply ½ cup of ECO-MIN for each one inch of trunk or stem diameter.
• Apply evenly within the dripline and incorporate.
• Water thoroughly after application.

GARDENS & LANDSCAPING:

• Apply 1-2 cups (½ – 1 pound) of ECO-MIN per 100 square feet.
• Cultivate in before mulch is applied.

NURSERY & POTTING:

• ECO-MIN is recommended at a rate of 5-10% of the total mix.
• For best results, the mix should include actual soils or compost, not growth media without soil.

LAWNS & TURF:

• For best results, apply once per growing season (fall, spring or both) and after aeration, if possible.
• Use 6-12 pounds per 1000 square feet (½ lb to 1 lb per 100 square feet). 
• Water generously after application.

GARDEN PLANTS / INDOOR:

• Apply one tablespoon to 4-6 inch pots and two tablespoons to larger pots. 
• Work ECO-MIN into the surface soil, if possible.
• Water thoroughly after application.

COMPOST:

• Apply 15-30 pounds per cubic yard. Mix well.
